Electrical Engineering department embodies very sincere efforts towards the building up of excellent career for diploma holders in the field of Electrical engineering Is a basic and conventional course of Engineering which is being offered since 1994 in this Institute.
The department is of the firm opinion that once the students have understood the basic concept of different subjects and got proper training in the laboratories so that they can be well placed in any organization.

- After the completion of 3 years of Diploma in Electrical Engineering, a student can directly enter in an Industry of Private/Public sector or he/she can go for higher studies in the field of Electrical Engineering or equivalent Engineering Courses.
- It equips you the knowledge of transmission and generation of Electrical Power, Electrical Machine, Circuit design, Electronic Instrumentation, Control system, understanding electrical and Electronics Networks etc.
- Electrical engineers are needed in major companies of public and private sector such as electricity Boards, large gas Plants, petroleum as well as in steel and chemical plants, Power Corporations, Indian railways, Armed forces(Technical Branch) and also in Thermal and Nuclear Power Corporation Limited, Hydro-Electricity sector are continuously in need of Electrical Engineers for their projects. Many premier educational and research Institutions regularly intake electrical engineers as graduate Engineer trainees and Management Trainees to work on research projects
